July 23, 2000 - A state visit to KL was made by the yet-to-be BIDAT’s Chief Animator (CA). The first kind of meeting was held at various places. Two bidaters (they have mutual agreement in joining the newly formed organization) were present at the meeting, except that the yet-to-be Chief Digital Cartoonist (CDC) was AWOL. Discussion was revolved around the "e-thing". The bidaters also have discussion on business and politics, lah... while having the "minum bueh and mandi bueh" session!

August 05, 2000 - D’ BIDAT web site was successfully launched into the cyberspace, after several delays due to minor problems with the shuttle engine booster.

August 07, 2000 - The CA sent-in the first kind of his 3D-animation (he called it, "Project Antimony"), specially created for D’ BIDAT web site. The typist (cum D' BIDAT's COO), however, have to attend the Youth Rock World Concert at PWTC... for three consecutive days and nights!

September 13, 2000 - The COO went to KL - to one of the finest P&G in Bukit Bintang to meet the CA. It’s sort of a second meeting for both party, where they have "minum bueh and mandi bueh" session. The other bidaters? MIA, of course! As usual, discussion on the "e-thing" still continues as the main topic of that night session. Minor topics? Please don’t bother to ask!

September 15, 2000 - The COO once again went to KL - this time to F&B Exhibition at PWTC to meet another potential member of BIDAT, i.e. Mr. Genjat - just to have some free Roselle drinks there!

September 16, 2000 - Operation Roselle at PWTC. The COO, together with CO and his "Z" Company were involved in this operation. Objective of the operation? To cut off the supply of Roselle drinks! However, the CDC once again AWOL. Her reason(s)? "I’m going to do this and that; KLCC, 1 Utama, Mines; baboons, etc.!" Haiyah... Eh, we almost forgot that on that day was Malaysia Day - the 37th. anniversary of Borneo states of Sarawak and Sabah gained independence through Malaysia.

September 18, 2000 - The CDC has found methods of creating a sitemap. She was then asked by the COO to revamp D’ B I D A T web site. Since then, she worked "very hard" for the new project.

September 30, 2000 - D' BIDAT micro satellite web site was given a new face-lift and launched from Penggau Bidayuh International Airport (PBIA - not to be mistaken with KLIA!) by the brood, and witnessed by "not-so-many" non-bidaters.  The CDC has create some new graphics to enhance the capability of D' B I D A T web site. The original "index.html" file was retained with minor alteration in order to preserve history. The new, additional slogan, "The Bidayuh Legend in Computer Graphic and Animation" shows that the brood really love this "Boleh" kind of spirit. Oh... how lucky they are to be Malaysian Bidayuh netizens! Well, it’s sort of reflection towards the brood’s achievement so far, lah... On the other hand, Mr. Genjat has accept the offer to become the third associate member of BIDAT. As a prerequisite, he was asked to compose a midi song for BIDAT. Anyway, the midi composing is "still under progress" - as he said in his e-mail message to the COO! In addition, D’ BIDAT Brood has agree in principle that they should proceed with the e-card project (of which would contain at least 80% Bidayuh influence), to be incorporated into Bidayuh dot Com (BdC) web site. The main reason? None other than "for the love of Bidayuh", lah! The official language for the e-cards is of course should be in English (be it Amerish, British, Canadish, Ozlish, Singlish, Manglish, and even Bidlish!). The so-called "project" is still on-going (and not yet fully functional), with both CDC and CA still cracking their heads to find some new silly ideas for the betterment of the project. To our viewers out there, we welcome your polite comments and/or suggestions. Just write to us at bidat@eudoramail.com (Attn.: COO). We would appreciate that... and of course, we would response to your needs - immediately. That’s why the present government has create CERT (Critical (?!) Emergency Response Team). But then, please give them (the CDC and CA) some times to resolve the "complex issue(s)", lah.

October 09, 2000 - As been promised, the e-cards are now "usable", after so many "test drives" have been done. The launch was a bigger event for D' BIDAT Brood, where they have satellite communications among themselves in cyber "space". October 12, 2000 - The brood is very grateful for being an affiliate of BdC. Yes, our big brothers have officially recognized our commitment and contributions towards the Bidayuh e-community. This is the first time ever that such a small Bidayuh organization like D’ BIDAT was given an "affiliate" status by the BdC (BdC - and not MSC!). Click here to find out more.

October 14, 2000 - We have changed our logo. Thanks to our CDC for the new "corporate" logo design. Well, it is suffice to say that our bidat is a "smart animal" (always went missing when the time is come for lab session!) and part of its jobs is "to safeguard our intellectual properties"! L.O.L.!!! No-nop... we still kept our old index.html file somewhere around here - and again, in order to preserve history, lah.

October 23, 2000 - The craze is not over yet, although the F1 Malaysian Grand Prix 2000 Series was ended on October 22, 2000 (whata biutipul Sunday!). Michael Schumacher and the Ferrari team won both the Driver's and Constructor’s Championship, and the hardcore fans from all over the world are still celebrating that victorious moment. The Bidayuh hardcore fans are also of no exception, no matter whether they give their full support for the McLaren-Mercedes team or the Ferrari team. D' BIDAT Brood supports the Ferrari team - is that true, guys? Well, to commemorate that victorious occasion, our CDC has created another e-card, but this one is not Michael Schumacher. Take a look!

December 05, 2000 – Our CA has launched the first e-Christmas greeting card, simultaneously in Bidayuh dot Com and BY2K and our COO supports his effort lah, including si Zep Genjat. But then, according to our CDC, she has no idea with the new design, so, she just “snatched” the available graphics that are not in use!

December 07, 2000 – The COO and CDC have agreed in principle to incorporate the “Beautiful Life” midi song in this news flash web page, since Zeplin has not create the much-awaited midi song for BIDAT! So, we have our news flash logo refurbished to accommodate the icon for “Beautiful Life” midi song. Hey… did you click that icon and hear the song?

December 14, 2000 - Our second e-X'mas greeting card was launched from BdC web site. The Santa Clowns, Inc., a subsidiary organization of D' BIDAT Brood have sent out the e-card to all registered members of BdC. Merry X'mas Y2K and Happy Y2K+1, anyone?!
